Erie's rehearsal club: 16 acoustically treated, fully backlined studios you can book by the hour, on a membership rather than a per-session rate.
How it works
Power Chord is a membership club, not an hourly rental. You pay once a month and book the room you need — there is no per-session fee, and nothing extra to pay when you walk in.
We’re open 9am–10pm, every day. Book one to three hours at a time, up to two weeks ahead, in whichever studio suits the size of your band — as often as you like, because a musician Membership has no limit on total studio time. Every rehearsal room is already backlined with a mixer, speakers and amplifiers, and most are stocked with guitars, a bass, keyboards and a drum kit — so you can show up without your instrument and still play. Each room is treated with 16″ bass traps and 4″ acoustic panels.
Membership is individual. Junior Members — under 21 — have access during Staffed Hours; Full Members have the run of all Club Hours. Podcast and Faith Group memberships are arranged per group.
You do not need a booking to be here. Members are always welcome in the Member’s Hall and the common areas, whether or not a studio is reserved in your name.
The Member’s Hall
The club also offers a large Member’s Hall with 12 couches, and various common areas with seating that members are always welcome to use for socializing, gig planning, song writing and the rest. The floor of LeSueur Hall, our largest studio, is generally open to members while bands are practicing.
